Client Relations Associate
The role involves supporting Client Relations Advisors in delivering high-quality service to clients in Italy, while also contributing to business development initiatives targeting both existing clients and prospects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in client servicing within asset management, investment management, or capital markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure effective resolution of a broad range of topics, including product, performance, and market-related questions, operational matters, legal updates, and billing issues;
- Managing the entire client relationship lifecycle to ensure seamless progression through key stages, including initial introduction, negotiation of distribution agreements, onboarding, activation, ongoing support, and day-to-day servicing;
- Collaborating closely with Advisors to foster trusted, long-term client relationships and contribute to the development of advocacy among prospective clients;
- Leading the coordination and delivery of client servicing and prospecting materials, including meeting presentations, RFPs, ad hoc reporting, and general correspondence;
- Overseeing the onboarding of new accounts by coordinating legal, investment, and operational components with the relevant internal stakeholders;
- Delivering high-quality post-sales support through the provision of fund updates, manager commentaries, performance charts, Excel analyses, and other client-facing materials;
- Liaising with key internal departments—such as Legal, Operations, Product Management, and Marketing—to ensure timely and effective resolution of client and distributor-related issues;
- Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of client reports, presentations, and other business development materials;
- Producing monthly sales and recurring reports, while continuously providing management with insights on market dynamics, distributor feedback, product requests, competitor developments, and operational challenges;
- Maintaining up-to-date client records and CRM databases, while also supporting the planning and execution of client and partner events.
Candidate Requirements:
- University degree complemented by a solid understanding of the financial services industry.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with senior management and to manage tasks and projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and perseverance, combined with strong analytical and numerical competencies, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills;
- Relevant time management and organization skills;
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
